For a studio near Monash Clayton, Acacia at 25 Beddoe Avenue has a useful location. Its room cards and opening information do not quite agree, though. Get the actual move-in date and kitchen and bathroom details confirmed before making plans around it.
The address is 25 Beddoe Avenue. RoomingKos describes 28 boutique studios, about 100 metres from the Monash Clayton campus. This is the operator's distance description, which differs from our straight-line measure to the campus centre. In your first week, walking to class, the library and student services should be simple; you will not need to learn a complicated commute straight away. Clayton Station and the main shopping strip are farther away, listed by the operator at about 3 kilometres, so check the current bus options when you need a bigger grocery shop or a trip into the city.
The public information confirms a study area, social space and shared kitchen. The room cards show several studio tiers, including Dawn, Daylight and Horizon. Ask about the exact room you would be booking: check the bathroom, kitchenette equipment, window aspect and storage rather than choosing by the tier name alone. The current public pages do not provide one consistent, complete list of facilities such as a gym or laundry. Do not assume another RoomingKos building's facilities are available here.
Monash Clayton has cafes, food outlets and campus retail. The Monash Merchant supermarket sells fresh food, fruit and vegetables, and international groceries. Its published hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Saturday 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, and closed on Sunday. For Chinese groceries or a meal, try Clayton Road: Hong Kong Supermarket is at 359–365 Clayton Road, and the local traders directory lists Asian restaurants such as Xi’an Famous Food. The university shopping guide also points to Coles and Chemist Warehouse. Clayton Road is farther from the building; the operator lists the shopping area at about 3 kilometres away, so check the bus or walk the route once. The campus fitness centre and Monash Merchant are useful for everyday needs, although the supermarket is closed on Sundays.
There are very few public reviews that clearly refer to Acacia itself. RoomingKos also displays general brand testimonials, but there is not enough evidence to attribute those comments to this building, so they are not used here. Ask whether residents have moved in and whether the operator can show you current room photos or a video tour.
Prices and lease terms are subject to the latest quotes at the top of this page. Ask for a quote for your specific room and lease term. The same operator page still says that opening, the full facilities list and pricing details are being finalised. Before signing, confirm the available date, final room fit-out, which bills are included, the bond and the cancellation terms, and keep the answers in writing.
On move-in day, photograph the walls, floor, furniture and appliances before unpacking. Bring bedding, a plug adaptor and regular medication if that suits your luggage; bulky bedding is easy to buy after arrival. Acacia may suit you if your main priority is being close to Monash Clayton with your own space. If a fully documented facilities list and a large pool of resident reviews are essential, the public information is not yet enough to decide on that alone.
