Iglu Melbourne Central is student accommodation at 167 Little Lonsdale Street in Melbourne. It offers private studios, including Standard Studio and Premium Studio, with a rooftop terrace and rooftop gym. If you want a studio and study nearby at RMIT University, compare the room features alongside your teaching location.
Location and getting to class
The building is behind the State Library, with the University of Melbourne also among the nearby institutions. Before choosing a room, compare the addresses of the teaching buildings on your timetable. A university name alone does not tell you where your classes are.
Rooms and shared facilities
At an inspection, ask exactly which furniture and appliances come with your chosen Standard Studio or Premium Studio before making your packing list.
Shared facilities include study areas, lounges and a laundry. If you expect to use the study and exercise spaces regularly, check the seating and layout, then ask about rooftop gym hours and laundry arrangements.
Indicative weekly rent and applications
Indicative starting prices displayed in 2026 are $635 per week for Standard Studio and $655 per week for Premium Studio. Availability for a specific move-in date has not been confirmed.
Applications for Semester 1 2027 are open. Ask an adviser about current quotes, vacancies, move-in dates and rent inclusions.
